I loved this course! Speech sound disorders in this age range can be so tricky to diagnose and treat. This course provided great information on differential diagnosis, considerations when starting therapy, various treatment approaches, and goal selection.

The workbook includes many helpful handouts that are easy to digest and provide lots of valuable “at a glance” information. I would highly recommend this course to SLPs working with the birth-4 population!

The content in the Speech Sound Disorders for Early Intervention course was incredibly helpful in providing a canvas for talking to the parents/caregivers of my youngest clients. Suzanne did a fabulous job with this course. Working with the early intervention and preschool population can be challenging. Suzanne breaks down each intervention approach from assessment to treatment. You will know when to use each approach and which client it is most appropriate for. She gives you a step by step guide as to how to set up your sessions to keep your clients motivated and get those trials in. The course workbook is incredible. Loads of charts and handouts that will keep you organized and prepared for your sessions. This course is great for new therapists and seasoned therapists alike. 

This course provided the foundational information I needed to feel confident addressing speech sound disorders in the early intervention population. The videos are engaging. The handouts have really helped me get a clearer picture during assessment as well as plan quality interventions.

I loved this course! I’ve been working as a Speech-Language Pathologist with Birth to Three aged children for 21 years, but have found there are always ways to streamline what we do as therapists, as well as how we share information with families. The handouts are very well-written and easy to read. I will be incorporating them into my practice.

I would recommend this course to anyone in EI- specifically if you're doing speech. There is not a lot of information out there for working on SSD in EI and this course really helps to understand when and how to work on speech sounds in Early Intervention. It was helpful to understand the difference between working on language and speech in EI.
